Decorative Floor Lamps
At Nordiska Galleriet you will find a large selection of lighting, including screen lamps. Screen lamps are a good option when you want to create a nice atmosphere in your home. A lamp often provides soft, diffused light that doesn't dazzle.
Screen lamps can be used in many rooms of the home, but are perhaps most common in living rooms and bedrooms, where they provide pleasant general lighting. Our range includes the popular IC Lights designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos. The round opal glass domes with the graphically shaped metal stand have made this lamp a modern design classic. You will also find beautiful screen lamps such as the Akari 10A and Akari 3A designed by Isamu Noguchi. Noguchi designed these lamps in the 1950s and they are now a staple of American design from the mid-fifties onwards. Thanks to the skirted shoji paper, the screens give off a warm, natural light reminiscent of the sun. At Nordiska Galleriet you will also find classics such as the PH lamps designed by Poul Henningsen, Lampe Mantis by Bernard Schottlander, and Angel Wing by Alvar Aalto. More modern lamps such as the Perch Light designed by Umut Yamac for the Italian Moooi and the Gun floor lamp by Philippe Starck are also available in our extensive range of lamps.
