Stool E60

Stool E60 from Artek is an iconic stool designed by Alvar Aalto in 1934 and part of the L-leg Collection, where Aalto's pioneering work with bent wood takes center stage. The four-legged construction is both simple and ingenious, with legs in solid birch that are mounted directly to the round seat without separate connecting elements.

The minimalist design makes the stool a versatile piece of furniture with many uses. It works just as well as an extra seat as a side table, a shelf or flexible storage.

The stool is stackable and can be placed in a characteristic spiral stack when not in use. The seat is offered in several designs, with a core in solid birch or birch plywood and a surface in, among others, birch veneer, laminate, linoleum, fabric or leather. Some upholstered versions are also equipped with PU foam padding.
