Tizio Micro table lamp

Tizio Micro is a table lamp from the Italian brand Artemide, designed by Richard Sapper, with a design language that has remained largely unchanged since its introduction more than 50 years ago. It is based on a carefully engineered system of balanced arms with counterweights, where the structure both supports the lamp head and conducts electricity without the need for visible cables.

The compact version retains the original's characteristic mobility and precision. The lamp can be adjusted effortlessly with one hand and holds its position with remarkable accuracy, regardless of angle. The light source has evolved from low-voltage halogen to integrated LED, providing more energy-efficient performance with a luminous flux of 150 lumens and a power output of 2.7 W. A discreet switch allows for two light levels. Tizio Micro is part of Artemide's collection and is regarded as an icon of Italian design. Its combination of technical innovation and visual balance makes it both a functional and distinctly designed object, equally suited to workspaces and more private settings.
