The Penguin Dining Chair is a dining chair from the Danish brand Audo Copenhagen. Designed in 1953 by designer Ib Kofod-Larsen, the chair has become a Danish design classic thanks to its elegant and sculptural design. In 2022, the dining chair will be re-launched together with a chair, The Penguin Lounge Chair, and a rocking chair, The Penguin Rocking Chair, in the same iconic design. Choose from solid walnut or oak and with or without a cloth or leather seat.

Ib Kofod-Larsen designed the chair with high comfort in mind; the back of the chair is lightly upholstered with an angled seat that supports and cushions the body. The chair's long, dimensioned wooden seat, combined with the narrower base in black powder-coated aluminium, creates an interesting contrast. As the name suggests, the design is inspired by the silhouette of a penguin, creating a playful chair that combines clean lines with solid craftsmanship.
