Karu Chair

Karu Chair is an armchair from the Dagmar brand. The model is designed by Haimi and is based on a classic chair that was first manufactured in Finland in the 1950s by the company Haimi OY.

The armchair is made in Sweden using traditional carpentry methods. The frame is made of solid beech and the seat is fully sprung, padded with foam and upholstered in sheepskin or textile from suppliers such as Skandilock, Pierre Frey and Dedar. The curved armrests and the discreet, wing-shaped back are typical of the Nordic post-war aesthetic. The legs are made of European oak or American walnut and are hand-finished. The armchair has proportions that are perfect for both living rooms and bedrooms.
