Brutalist Coffee Table is a coffee table designed in 2025 by designer Alain van Havre for the brand Ethnicraft. The table is part of a series of side tables and is characterized by geometric lines and a sculpted surface. The table has a low profile and generous dimensions, made of stained, solid mahogany with a clear lacquer finish. The design language draws inspiration from brutalist architecture, where volume, asymmetry and weight are in focus. The milled table top has level differences that create subtle contrast without decorative elements. Brutalist is intended as a coffee table and is suitable in front of a sofa or armchair in a living room or lounge. The dark wood type and visual weight give the room a stable point and are suitable for minimalist or contemporary interiors.
