Monocle Outdoor Modular Sofa is a two-seater modular sofa for outdoor use from Belgian Ethnicraft. The sofa is designed by Jacques Deneef and is part of the Monocle collection, where several sofa modules can be combined in different configurations.
The frame and legs are made of solid teak, which is delivered without surface treatment or protective treatment to preserve the natural character of the wood. The cushions are upholstered in 100% polypropylene and filled with medium-firm quick-dry foam, adapted for outdoor use.
The Monocle Outdoor Modular Sofa has space for up to two people and a maximum load of 250 kg. It can be placed as a free-standing two-seater sofa on the patio or combined with other parts from the series to build a larger modular sofa. Clips for connecting the sofa modules are included and make it possible to keep the parts together in the chosen configuration. For the care and maintenance of the untreated teak, Ethnicraft's care instructions for the outdoor collection are recommended.
