Luxembourg Low Armchair was launched in 2004 after a collaboration between Frédéric Sofia and Fermob. The outdoor chair has a frame of cylindrical aluminum tubes and a seat, backrest, and armrest made of aluminum slats. The aluminum contributes to strength and lightness and the slats provide good comfort. The Luxembourg Low Armchair is distinguished by its contemporary design and fits into many environments.

The Luxembourg Low Armchair was first seen in the 1920s with the gardens of the famous Jardin de Luxembourg park in Paris. Through traditional craftsmanship, Fermob still produces furniture even though almost 100 years have passed. Since the 1990s, following the departure from the Jardin du Luxembourg, Fermob has been producing furniture again.
