Chouchin 2 is a pendant light that is part of a series created in 2011 by Ionna Vautrin for Foscarini. The lamp comes in three versions, each with its own shape and shade. Chouchin 2 comes in a green color applied to a shiny handblown glass. This surface completely blocks the light, giving a directional and direct light that shines from the bottom of the lamp. Available with dimmable LED, in On-off, Push or DALI versions. The lamp can also be ordered with an extra-long cable.

Ionna Vautrin was inspired to design the lamp by the classic Japanese lanterns that are often used as signs outside restaurants or as good luck charms outside the home. Instead of being made of paper or bamboo, these are made of mouth-blown glass, making each lamp unique.
