Lumiere Piccola is a table lamp from Foscarini, Italy, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in 1990. The design is a contemporary interpretation of the classic bedside lamp and is characterised by its compact format and the distinct interplay between glass and metal.
The softly shaped shade in blown glass is combined with the Lumiere series’ characteristic three-legged aluminium base. The contrast between the rounded volume of the glass and the cleaner lines of the aluminium gives the table lamp a balanced and recognisable silhouette. The blown glass encloses the light source and contributes to a warm and pleasant glow. Lumiere Piccola is available in two versions with a replaceable E14 LED light source. One is equipped with a dimmer for stepless adjustment of the brightness, while the other has a simple On/Off function. Both versions retain the same compact proportions and characteristic combination of blown glass and aluminium.
