Rivet Case is a storage unit from the Danish brand Frama. It was designed by Jonas Trampedach in 2011 and is part of the Rivet Series, where the construction is based on a special riveting technique.
The furniture is made of raw, laser-cut aluminum sheets that are joined by hand with hammers in a cold forming process. The technique enables perpendicular joints between separate parts and gives each piece a unique character. The shelf can be placed both vertically and horizontally and functions as a table, storage or display surface depending on the needs. The construction can withstand a load of up to 15 kg and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The untreated aluminum surface means that scratches and natural variations can occur. Over time, the material develops a patina with marks and shifts without rusting or deteriorating.
