The BM80 Mogensen Coffee Table is a coffee table from the Danish furniture brand Fredericia Furniture. The table was designed in 1961 by Børge Mogensen and is based on the functional simplicity of the Shaker tradition combined with Mogensen's work with proportions, materials and construction.
The round coffee table has a diameter of 120 cm and is made of solid oak, with both the frame and table top in solid wood. The legs are assembled with a visible brass screw, a constructive detail that reflects Mogensen's approach to materials and design. The table has a demountable construction and is delivered unassembled for assembly on site.
Soap-treated oak has a character that is close to untreated wood and develops a patina over time. Oil-treated oak also develops a natural patina with use.
