Mogensen C18 Shaker Table 160 cm

Mogensen C18 Shaker Table is a dining table designed in 1947 by Børge Mogensen for the Danish furniture brand Fredericia Furniture. The table was designed for use in the home and is characterized by a recessed leg construction where the legs are not placed in the corners. The construction frees up space around the table top and makes it possible to combine the dining table with different types of chairs.

The rectangular table is made of solid oak, with both the frame and table top in solid wood. The legs are assembled with visible brass screws and the brass fittings develop a patina over time. The table can be supplemented with insert leaves to expand the table surface if necessary. The construction is dismountable and the table is delivered unassembled for assembly on site.

Soap-treated oak has a character that is close to untreated wood and develops a patina over time. Oil-treated wood also develops a natural patina with use.
