PC Hanging lamp is a hanging lamp designed by Pierre Charpin for the Danish brand HAY. The lamp is made of anodized aluminum which makes the surface more resistant to corrosion. PC Hanging lamp is available in three sizes and can be chosen in several colors. The cable consists of braided fabric and is black regardless of which version you choose. The lightbulb of the PC Hanging lamp is hidden behind a diffuser made of polycarbonate that both shapes the lamp and creates a soft exit for directed light. The PC Hanging lamp is beautiful to use alone as well as several together and fits well in public and private settings. The collection also includes the PC Table Lamp and the PC Portable.
Pierre Charpin lives in Paris and has been working with furniture and interior design since the early 90s. His approach to design is strongly influenced by his own background as he is basically an artist. Color and form what characterizes his work, which has been featured in several exhibitions and museums around the world.
