Slit Table Round XL is a side table from the Danish brand HAY. The table is made of steel and is available in White, Black, Mirror, and Brass. The inspiration for Slit Table Round XL's design has been taken from the paper craft of Origami. The narrow frame gives the impression of being folded under the tabletop. This gives the table a simple and functional shape that brings to mind traditional Japanese paper art. The Slit Table Round XL is minimalist in design and is also available in several shapes and variations: the Slit Table Hexagon, the Slit Table Oblong, the Slit Table Round and the Slit Table Round - High.
The Danish brand HAY was founded in 2002 by Rolf Hay. The first collection was launched in 2003 at the Imm trade fair in Cologne, when Mette Hay had also become part of the company.
