Woody Column is a series of shelves from the stylish and multifunctional Woody collection from HAY. Woody Column is available in two models, Column Low which is 85.5 cm high and comes with three shelves, and Column High which is 196.5 cm high and has six shelves. The shelves can be used to complement the larger storage system in the same series or on their own as a bookshelf or storage unit.

HAY first developed the Woody shelving system for internal use only as a simple but stylish storage solution. But because they received so many requests for the shelving system, they took the concept a step further and launched Woody on the market. The inspiration for the design comes from the traditional ladder. Woody is made with a solid oak wood frame and white powder-coated steel shelves. The wood is untreated, allowing it to develop a beautiful patina over time. The simple, pared-down design is complemented by industrial design details, with joints and components left visible in the structure. The Woody Column shelf is delivered unassembled.
