The Woody shelf is created by the Danish brand HAY and is manufactured in several versions to suit different purposes. Woody is thus a flexible shelving system that, depending on the chosen height and length, can be used as a freestanding bookshelf, room divider, or for storage against a wall. Combine different models of Woody, such as High and Low, to create a larger uniform storage system. The Woody shelving system is manufactured with frame construction in solid oak that has an untreated finish. The shelves come in powder-coated steel in white.

Woody was originally created only to be used internally by HAY in-house, but after receiving several requests to purchase similar shelving, the Woody shelving system was also developed for the commercial market. The beauty of the Woody shelving system lies in its simple and uncluttered design, created with inspiration from a traditional ladder.
