Birdie’s Nest is a ceiling lamp designed in 2005 by the German brand Ingo Maurer. The lamp is made of metal, goose feathers and ten low-voltage lamps. The lamp is attached to the ceiling like a plafond. When the lamps are manufactured, the metal frame of each individual lamp is shaped by hand, which is an advanced craft.
