Knitterling is a ceiling lamp designed in 1978 by Ingo Maurer. The lampshade is handmade from Japanese paper in Munich, the paper is slightly wrinkled which is a conscious design detail. The rest of the lamp is made of metal and a black plastic cover. Due to its paper shade, Knitterling is not suitable for rooms with high humidity. The lamp is just like many of Ingo Maurer's lamps, also a work of art in itself and is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms and office environments.
Knitterling is available in two different cable lengths, 200 or 450 cm.
