Esther Deep Bronze 771 Wool & Linen Rug

Esther 771 Deep Bronze is a woven bouclé rug from Swedish Kasthall designed by Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg. The rug is based on a curly bouclé yarn that is developed and manufactured in Kasthall's own factory in Sweden, inspired by the short-shorn wool of sheep. The yarn's structure is combined with shades of wool and linen, which gives the rug's surface a marbled look with variations.

For woven rugs, backing is available as an option during production. The treatment involves coating the underside of the rug with an acrylate adhesive to stabilize the rug and extend its lifespan. Backing is recommended for woven rugs that are wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 m². Regular vacuuming helps preserve the rug's surface, while dirt and stains should be removed to reduce wear on the fibers. Because Kasthall rugs are made from natural fibers, variations in color, structure and dimension may occur between different yarn lots.

The rug is manufactured individually in Kasthall's factory in Kinna and can be used both as a smaller rug and as a full-length rug.
