Greta 202 Mountain Lake Wool Rug

Greta 202 Mountain Lake is a woven wool rug from Kasthall, designed by Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg. The rug is distinguished by its textile complexity – each rug consists of twelve different yarns, carefully selected in both contrasting and tonal color combinations. This creates an organic flow across the surface of the rug. Kasthall is based in Kinna, where the rug is still manufactured. The rug is woven from pure wool and has a warp of linen. With a height of approximately 5 mm and a weight of 2200 g/m², it offers a stable but supple structure. A characteristic feature of the rug is the use of local residual products, such as old punched cards from the weaving mill. The rug is an example of how Kasthall works with recycling without compromising on form or quality.
