Pouff is a ceiling lamp from the Italian brand Martinelli Luce. Designed by Emiliana Martinelli in 2014, it is a lamp with a softly rounded shape that combines diffuse lighting with a clear geometric expression. The circular silhouette is inspired by the enveloping shape of a pouf, where the light highlights the volume of the lamp and creates an even light image in the room. The luminaire consists of a base in lacquered aluminum and a diffuser in white opal methacrylate that spreads the light softly and evenly.
The ceiling lamp is dimmable via Triac and is suitable for living rooms, bedrooms and entrances where a pleasant light is required. With its balanced shape, integrated LED light source and diffuse light distribution, the lamp is an excellent example of Martinelli Luce's work with functional lighting where form and use work together in a unified whole.
