Serpentine Light from the brand Moooi. The Serpentine Light ceiling lamp is designed by Front for the brand Moooi with exciting twists inspired by twisted paper. The dark lines create an upward spiral effect on the sheer paper, which also ensures that the light is spread evenly. The lightweight material adds to its character and makes it suitable for wherever you want to hang it - dinner table, hallway or your office desk. The eternal movement of the Serpentine Light makes it an elegant choice with its captivating shape.
Front is a Swedish design duo based in Stockholm consisting of Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist. The duo has worked extensively with Moooi since the start and have designed, among others, Pig Table, Chess Table and Blow Away Vase. According to Front, Serpentine Light was an experiment in which they manipulated a simple material to create a complex form. The challenge was to explore in a thoughtful way how basic materials can be used to create fascinating shapes and patterns.
