The Plank dining table was designed by Nissen Gehl for the Danish furniture manufacturer Naver. The tabletop comes in solid wood and the base in black powder-coated steel. The top and legs are crafted down to the last detail, which has been Naver's hallmark since its inception in 1995. High quality is the alpha and omega for this furniture company. When selecting materials, solid wood is carefully selected, and later dried so that the humidity can be as low as possible. Furthermore, the wood is sorted so that the color and texture are matched for each individual piece of furniture.
The Plank dining table comes in five different sizes, and there is the possibility to add an extension leaf at the end of the table. The extension leaf extends the table by 50 cm and is available in solid wood or MDF. The tabletop is 40 mm thick. You can choose from ash, oak, elm, wild oak (more patina) and walnut. The wood is also available in a wide range of finishes such as white oiled, lacquered or oiled.
