Båstad Blue Wool Rug

Båstad Blue is a handwoven wool rug from Swedish Nordic Knots. The rug takes its name from the town of Båstad in southern Sweden and is inspired by the region's textile tradition from the early 1900s. It is part of the Båstad collection, which is produced in small editions with limited availability per size.

Made in Bhadohi, India, from New Zealand wool, it offers a soft and durable surface with a thickness of 5 mm. As a handwoven wool rug, it has a plain weave design and is also reversible, which means that both sides can be used. It is suitable for living rooms, bedrooms and other interiors where flexibility and choice of materials are central. The design was developed in Stockholm and is linked to historical textile expressions. Goodweave certification ensures responsible production.

For maintenance, gentle vacuuming without rotating brushes, immediate treatment of stains and cutting loose threads instead of pulling are recommended to preserve the quality of the carpet over time.
