Canvas Terracotta Wool Rug

Canvas Terracotta is a handmade wool rug from the Stockholm-based brand Nordic Knots. The rug is designed in Stockholm and handmade in Bhadohi, India, with a front made of 100% New Zealand wool. The rug is characterized by a hand-woven design with a cut pile and a thickness of 14 mm. The dense wool pile provides a soft surface, while hand-finished edges and a tone-on-tone border frame the composition. The rug is Goodweave™ certified.

The Terracotta color scheme is an earthy red tone with warm melange that brings to mind sunburned clay. The color draws associations from oil on canvas and creates variation across the surface of the rug.

For those who want to experience the material, color and structure, a 20 × 20 cm sample piece, cut directly from the rug, is available for purchase from us.
