Modern Milano Green Wool Rug

Modern Milano Green is a wool rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. As part of the Modernist Collection series, the design takes its starting point from the functionalist design language, where geometric elements and recurring structures create a consistent visual expression. The design language is based on an interplay between linear shapes and repeated fields.

It is hand-woven with a 13 mm cut pile, which results in a low and even surface where the pattern appears with sharpness. The material consists of 100% wool from New Zealand. The design is developed in Stockholm and manufactured by hand in Bhadohi, India. Production takes place in small series where each size is available in a limited number of copies.

As a wool rug, it is perfect for living rooms, bedrooms or other environments where a graphic surface helps to structure the whole. It can be placed independently or in interaction with furniture to create a clear zone in the room.
