Ryya 01 Blue Rya Rug

Ryya 01 Blue is a rya rug from the Nordic Knots brand. As a modern interpretation of the Scandinavian rya tradition, it is part of a collection where colored yarns are combined to create a melange texture with a clear structure. The rug is hand-knotted with a 25 mm pile and made of 100% wool from New Zealand, which provides a balanced relationship between softness and durability. Production takes place in Bhadohi, India, in small editions where each size is available in limited numbers. This rya rug is suitable for living rooms, bedrooms or open spaces where a textile surface defines the room and contributes to a clear zoning. It can be placed centrally or under furniture depending on the floor plan and use. The melange structure provides variation in expression and interacts with both subdued and more colorful interiors.
