Shade Duvet Cover Nordic Greige is a duvet cover in cotton sateen from the Swedish brand Ogland, founded in Stockholm in 2015.
The duvet cover is part of the Shade collection and is made from 100% organic ELS (extra-long staple) cotton with extra-long fibers that provide a stronger yarn and a denser weave. The sateen weave has a thread count of 500 TC and a design where more threads lie on the top of the fabric, creating a smooth surface with a natural luster and subtle shine. The material is soft and supple against the skin and feels slightly warmer than percale, which gives a enveloping feeling during sleep.
The color Nordic Greige is a light gray-beige shade with a cool undertone that can be combined with pillowcases and flat sheets in both matching and contrasting colors.
The cotton is GOTS certified, which means requirements for environmental and social responsibility throughout the entire production chain.
The duvet cover can be washed at 60 degrees for regular use, while 40 degrees is sufficient for lightly used bedding. Air drying or tumble drying on low heat is recommended to preserve the cotton fibers and the structure of the satin fabric.
