Secto Design

Tuula Jusélius established the Finnish brand Secto Design in 1995. His first meeting with designer Seppo Koho was the beginning of something big, and they immediately knew that they shared the same passion for Scandinavian design and distinguished craftsmanship. The company places great emphasis on high quality and unique design.

They began by creating innovative wooden furniture, and, based on the idea of combining this with lighting made of the same material, Seppo Koho designed the Secto 4200 lamp, which also became the backbone of the entire Secto Design collection of designer lamps. The lamps are characterized by simple lines, and the natural material provides a sense of warmth. Secto Design offers lighting in a variety of models and finishes to give each home a unique look. The shades are made of PEFC-certified Finnish beech veneer and undergo thorough quality control directly after production.

Fine craftsmanship from around the world

The stylish lamps can be found in a number of popular locations around the world, such as the Louvre in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. They are also an obvious choice in many private homes, not least in Scandinavia. Thanks to Secto Design’s large network of suppliers, 90% of the production is exported and, with a view to becoming even more international, Secto Design USA was established in 2017. The Secto Design range includes ceiling lamps, wall lamps, floor lamps and table lamps - all handmade in Finnish by skilled craftsmen.
