String wall unit is a wall unit from the Swedish brand String . It forms the basis of the modular String System , which was designed by Nisse Strinning in 1949 and is designed for flexible and long-term storage. The wall units are available in heights of 50 cm and 75 cm and in depths of 20 cm and 30 cm. They are screwed directly into the wall and leave both the floor and ceiling free, which makes the system easy to adapt to the room's conditions. Once the wall units are installed, optional components such as shelves and cabinets can be added from the collection. For extended functionality, the wall units can be supplemented with s-hooks and organizers, which are easily hung on the wire structure of the wall unit. They are sold in both 1-pack and 2-pack, which provides flexibility in both planning and installation.
