Dusk Wall Lamp

Dusk Wall Lamp is a wall lamp from Danish 101 Copenhagen, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl. The lamp draws inspiration from planets and solar eclipses and combines lighting with a sculptural expression. The interplay between form, light and shadow creates a presence that changes depending on the viewing angle and lighting conditions.

The wall lamp is made up of two aluminum shades with a concrete-like surface finish that gives the construction a clear material character. The overlapping shapes create a soft and indirect light where the light source is partially hidden, which contributes to a pleasant and balanced light image. The combination of the geometric shapes and the textured surface gives the lamp an expression that moves between art object and functional lighting.
