Virēre Eau de Parfum 50 ml is a perfume from Aesop, created in collaboration with perfumer Barnabé Fillion. The scent is inspired by memories of the Mediterranean, where citrus groves, fig trees and green tea have inspired the composition. With a combination of citrus, green spices, herbs and woody notes, Virēre creates a fragrance profile that develops gradually on the skin.
The top notes consist of bergamot, galbanum and petitgrain, which provide an introduction with citrus and green notes. The heart combines green tea, mastic and pink pepper, which adds herbal and spicy nuances. The base consists of cedarwood, green maté and hay, which give the fragrance a woody character with warmer undertones.
It comes in a 50 ml bottle and is applied to the wrists and neck as desired. The different notes of the fragrance appear gradually throughout the day, moving from citrus and green plant notes to wood and hay. The perfume can also be combined with Aesop's hand and body care products to enhance the fragrance experience. The formula is vegan and contains a combination of aromatic ingredients that together reflect the inspiration from the vegetation of the Mediterranean.
