The stylish Rocket bar stool was designed by Eero Aarnio in 1995 for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek. Eero Aarnio is a Finnish designer who was recognized for his plastic furniture such as the Bubble Chair, Ball Chair and Globe Chair. His playful design is also visible in the Rocket Chair, which has three rounded legs and a "fluffy" impression. It was only when the designer and designer Tom Dixon saw the stool in Aarnio's own kitchen that it went into production for Artek.
