The Penguin Dining Chair is part of the ICONS collection from Danish Audo Copenhagen. Originally designed and produced in 1953 by Ib Kofod-Larsen, this iconic chair was relaunched in 2022. The chair was named for its playful, penguin-like shape and focuses on the comfort of the sitter, according to Kofod-Larsen's vision. The curved backrest and angled seat offer a unique but above all comfortable design. The wider backrest creates a contrast to the slimmer chassis. The chair is now being reintroduced and is available in walnut or oak veneer, with the option of an upholstered seat. In connection with the launch, Penguin now becomes a mini-series, where Audo Copenhagen introduces a rocking chair and a lounge armchair to the collection.
