239 Fence-e-Nature Sofa is designed in 2020 by Philippe Starck for Italian Cassina. The sofa has organic shapes and an aluminum base with a colored finish that can be chosen in Ivory or Mud, and teak armrests. The backrest is available with exclusive hand-woven rope or in natural untreated willow wood. The seat and back cushion have fabric upholstery with polyester fiber foam filling, making the sofa extremely comfortable. Thanks to a manual mechanism inspired by Asian architecture, the backrest of the 239 Fence-e-Nature Sofa can be adjusted to two different positions. A solid teak support bar is held in place by two wooden nails and has been machined to look like a branch.

Designer Philippe Starck defines Fence-e-Nature as "a lifestyle collection of relaxed elegance", and together with Cassina continues to revolutionize the concept of the classic sofa, this by using high quality pioneering materials that respect the environment. The collection also includes an armchair and a side table in two heights. Weather protection is available separately.
