Bench 01

Bench 01 from Frama is a wooden bench with roots in Nordic design tradition. The silhouette is inspired by benches found in Nordic auditoriums and churches since the 19th century and reflects the simple development in Danish design. The straight design language defines the expression and construction. The bench accommodates two people and is made of Baltic birch. The material provides a stable structure and a surface where the natural grain of the wood clearly appears. Variations in oil and the grain of the wood are natural and contribute to the development of its own patina over time. The bench has a seat height that is adapted to most standard dining table dimensions, making it a functional choice in the dining room or kitchen. It can also be placed along a wall in a hallway or used as additional seating in common areas.
