Library Table 6271 is a folding table from the Danish furniture brand Fredericia Furniture. Børge Mogensen designed the table in 1958 based on a functional approach where dimensions and details have a specific purpose.
The construction is based on the traditional English gate-leg principle, which makes it possible to double the length of the table top through the folding flaps. When the flaps are not in use, they fold down vertically along the sides of the table, giving the table a rectangular profile and making it adaptable to different areas of use and spaces.
The table has a solid wood frame and a veneered oak table top, set in sections of solid wood. The table can be used as a compact table when the flaps are folded down or as a larger table when they are folded up.
