Armchair Bovik is an outdoor chair from the Swedish brand Grythyttan. The Bovik series is based on the classic spring steel frame from the 1930s, but has been updated with a narrower wooden profile for a more contemporary expression. The furniture is made of untreated teak and steel and is developed for outdoor use, where the materials are allowed to age with dignity and minimal maintenance.
Grythyttan has a strong foundation in Swedish furniture tradition and is particularly associated with outdoor furniture where form, function and material work together. The Bovik series carries on this heritage with a pure design language and the characteristic failure of the spring steel.
