Palissade Stool is an outdoor stool created by French design duo and brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for HAY. The stool is part of the popular Palissade collection which includes a wide series of outdoor furniture such as chairs, tables, benches, lounge, and bar furniture. The Palissade Stool comes in the neat size of 37 x 42 cm and is perfect as an extra seat for the dining group from the same series by HAY. The stool follows the characteristic design language of Palissade, with a rectangular seat consisting of gently curved steel slats that go down to four legs, completely without any sharp corners. The steel stool comes in three powder-coated colors, the light gray Sky Gray, the soft green Olive or the dark gray Anthracite. A fourth version with the extra durable galvanized steel finish is also available, which is an excellent choice for outdoor or public spaces.
The Bouroullec brothers created the Palissade series for HAY with the aim of combining strength and durability in both materials and veneers, with an elegant and simple design that is trendily timeless. The Palissade furniture thus becomes a sustainable option for every patio in both a leafy garden and the more urban space.
