Scantling P40 - Floor Lamp is a floor lamp designed year 2010 by Mathias Hahn for Marset. Scantling P40 - Floor Lamp has a lamp base and foot in lacquered iron crossed by a solid oak arm. On the wooden arm is a lacquered aluminium lampshade. The shade is adjustable thanks to the lamp arm and the handle, and its technical precision means that neither springs nor counterweights are needed to maintain the chosen position.

In addition to the Scantling P40 Floor Lamp, the Scantling series also includes a larger version, the Scantling P73 Floor Lamp. In addition to floor lamps, the series also includes a wall lamp and a table lamp. Scantling is characterised by its basic geometric shapes and the combination of wood and metal. The interplay between the different elements used in the series gives this lamp an archetypal, almost graphic appearance.
