The Profiterolle table lamp is a lamp from the Italian brand Martinelli Luce. Designed by Sergio Asti and reissued from the original 1968 version, Profiterolle is a table lamp that can also be used as a floor lamp. The model has been developed to provide an even, diffused light and works well in living rooms, bedrooms, studies, or other environments where soft illumination is desired. The shade is made of transparent methacrylate and fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin, creating its distinctive shape and light diffusion. Between the shade and the base is a connecting rubber ring that contributes to the overall integrity of the construction. The base is made of lacquered aluminium, providing a stable foundation for the fixture. Profiterolle is part of Martinelli Luce’s lighting collection, where materials, form, and function interact in a clear and distinctive expression. The lamp is designed for LED light sources and can be placed on a table, side table, or directly on the floor depending on the setting and requirements.
