Lucia Eames Rooted is a hand-tufted wool rug from the Spanish brand Nanimarquina. The rug is designed by Lucia Eames and is based on one of her collages, taking inspiration from nature's organic structures, plant patterns and networks beneath the surface. The layers of the original work have been transferred to textile by hand tufting in 100% New Zealand wool. Cut level differences in the pile create variation in height and give depth to the graphic composition, while the technique makes it possible to form soft lines and curves.
The rug has a total height of 18 mm and a density of 56,000 tufts per square meter. The dense construction provides a soft surface and durability for daily use. The New Zealand wool has a soft feel and is certified cruelty-free.
