LIGURIA: Recipes & Wanderings Along the Italian Riviera Cookbook

This is a cookbook from the Spanish publisher Apartamento, produced in collaboration with Belmond. The book is the first in a series that explores local food cultures through the region's ingredients, voices and environments. It contains 24 traditional dishes from Liguria, inspired by the kitchens of Belmond's Splendido and Splendido Mare hotels in Portofino. Photography by Laura Jane Coulson is interspersed with texts by Andy Baraghani, Corrado Corti, Gilda Bruno and Luca Cesari, highlighting the connection between place, history and gastronomy.

The book moves between the local and the personal, with guest recipes by Fanny Singer and Max Rocha. Ruth Rogers' introduction is based on decades of wandering along the Ligurian coast and conveys a close relationship to the region's expression and lifestyle.

Published by Apartamento, the book is part of a new generation of contemporary cookbooks that combine recipes with travelogue and cultural context.
