The Fabrizio Astronomer wool rug is a hand-knotted rug from the Swedish brand Nordic Knots. It belongs to a collection by Paris-based interior designer Fabrizio Casiraghi, inspired by the human connection to nature through narratives of past, present, and future. Casiraghi interprets this through three characters: the archaeologist, the farmer, and the astronomer.
The Astronomer rug embodies one of these characters and is hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India. It is made from high-density New Zealand wool, a material that combines softness with durability. The result is a dense and even texture with a smooth surface and refined detailing. With a 15 mm pile, the rug offers a tactile quality that enhances its presence in any room.
As part of Casiraghi’s collection, the rug is produced in limited editions, with only a few pieces available in each size. It is Goodweave™ certified and designed for long-lasting use. The Astronomer rug suits both private and public interiors and works especially well in living rooms or bedrooms.
