Pira G2 W-A Black Gray/Walnut

Pira G2 W-A Black Grey/Walnut is a modern interpretation of Swedish architect Olle Pira's design classic from 1955. Originally designed especially for the iconic design exhibition H55, almost seventy years later, the Swedish design brand Pira, together with architect Anna von Schewen and industrial designer Björn Dahlström, has designed an updated version with modern materials. Made of walnut with shelves in lacquered steel sheet and posts in extruded aluminum, the shelving system has an elegant yet robust design language where the wood material balances out the hard metal and gives a warmer impression. The shelving system comes in the Black Grey/Walnut version. Thanks to the modular design, Pira G2 can be mounted on the wall or freestanding as a room divider with a floor-to-ceiling installation. This model is a wall shelving system, but the freestanding shelving systems Pira G2 FC-A and Pira G2 FC-B are also available for purchase from us at Nordiska Galleriet. This shelving system contains a total of eight shelves, two cabinets and two bookends.
