String spears are an accessory from the Swedish brand String . They are designed to be combined with perforated metal shelves, especially within the String System , designed by Nisse Strinning in 1949.
The spears are available in two depths, 20 cm and 30 cm, and are designed to be placed under a metal shelf. They are particularly useful in kitchen solutions where wine glasses or other objects can be hung. A spear with a depth of 20 cm holds 2-3 wine glasses, while 30 cm deep spears hold 3-4 glasses with a cup diameter of 7 cm. A 58 cm shelf holds three spears, while a 78 cm shelf holds four.
Each package contains two spears, each spear having two sets of rails. The accessory allows for efficient use of the space under the shelf and creates a more functional solution in the kitchen or dining room.
