Bread Console

Bread Console is designed by British designer Faye Toogood for Italian brand Tacchini. The design language originates from the everyday gesture of slicing two ciabatta breads and stacking them on top of each other to create a console table in a soft, organic shape. The design process consisted of the practical approach of slicing bread and then balancing the slices against each other.

The console table's base is made of stained ash and the table top is made of natural stained maple, which brings to mind a slice of buttered bread. It is part of the Bread & Butter collection.
