Ville by &Tradition - A Series for Outdoor Environments

The Ville series is characterized by a balanced design where clear lines meet softer transitions. The construction is stable and adapted for outdoor use, with a focus on comfort in daily use. The collection includes, among other things, the Ville AV34 armchair, the AV33 dining chair, tables, as well as benches and lounge chairs.

The furniture is designed to work both individually and together, enabling flexible solutions for patios, terraces, and other outdoor environments. The design is consistent throughout the series, making it easy to create a cohesive whole.

Materials and Construction

The material choices in the Ville series are adapted for outdoor use. The Ville Table AV25 combines a powder-coated steel base with a teak tabletop, providing a stable construction and good resistance to weather influences. The combination of metal and wood creates a clear material contrast, where function and durability are central aspects of the design.

Complementary cushions, such as the Ville Chair Cushion, are made from a textile blend with recycled acrylic and quick-drying foam. The construction is designed to withstand outdoor use while contributing to increased seating comfort.

Flexibility and Use

The Ville series offers several different furniture types that can be combined as needed. Chairs and tables can be assembled into outdoor dining areas, while lounge chairs and benches work well in more relaxed seating environments.

The Designers Anderssen & Voll

Behind the Ville series is the Norwegian design studio Anderssen & Voll, founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll. Their work is characterized by a clear connection to Scandinavian design tradition, where function, materials, and proportions are central.

The studio has collaborated with several international brands and is known for developing furniture where form and use interact. In the Ville series, this is evident through consistent design and a clear focus on how the furniture is used in its environment.
