Series 430 Bar Stool 75 cm is a popular bar stool from Danish Verpan, designed by Verner Panton in 1967. The upholstered bar stool has its own unique character within the modern, Danish design that Series 430 exudes, namely the base that surrounds the seat on the outside edges. The base is made of black, powder-coated metal that is rounded, as is the round seat in upholstered square fabrics. Both the seat and backrest are made of plywood and are upholstered with foam for a comfortable sitting experience. Panton often uses rounded shapes in his designs, which for the bar stool is expressed through the oval backrest, round seat and rounded base.
